I hope this website will provide some useful information to you as an individual seeking a personal approach to your particular health need. As an MD for the past 39 years I have diagnosed and treated a variety of medical conditions from a western medical standpoint. For the past thirteen years I have chosen to enhance my diagnostic and treatment skills utilizing complementary medical treatments. I have chosen acupuncture as a primary mode of enhancing health because it has a 3000 year history of efficacy for a variety of conditions. More importantly it requires me to look at disease processes from a different perspective that complements my knowledge of western medical treatments. Optimizing the care you receive is my goal. I see one patient at a time and a full hour is devoted to discussing your medical condition and devising a treatment plan.
Acupuncture is a cornerstone of my treatment plan but counseling, dietary recommendations and other complementary therapies are utilized. Since it is your health, you direct the pace and tenor of your treatment. Becoming an active participant in your healing is essential regardless of the health care model you choose.
